Do you think Whatsapp is doing enough to tackle spreading of fake news ?

I think they are taking numerous action, but nothing seem to be effective. It all depends on the user who spread the news. If they start to block many content then they will end up loosing users.

 That is true. It is like ISP and torrents. Their income will come down if they block torrents.

I think they will soon bring subscription based to avoid fake posts

That won't work for them in India. There are apps like Telegram as replacement.

Hmm that's why they aren't making the service paid. Let's see what new mechanism they bring in to make the fake news disappear.

There was something the news about their second wave of anti fake news attempt to tackle fake news during Loksabha polls.
